Erica
Lombardo joined Kirshenbaum & Kirshenbaum in October 2009 as an
associate
focusing on civil litigation and business litigation matters.
Erica
joined the firm after serving a one-year clerkship with the Rhode Island
Supreme Court’s Law Clerk
Department. As a Law Clerk, Erica
assisted the Honorable Justices
of the Superior,
Family,
and
District
Courts
in
preparing
decisions and legal research in
various areas of the law.For the
majority of her term, Erica worked on the Dispositive Civil Motion
Calendar in
the Providence County Superior Court.
Erica
received her Juris Doctor degree from SuffolkUniversityLawSchool
in 2008. While at SuffolkUniversity, Erica
volunteered as a domestic violence
advocate through SuffolkUniversityLawSchool’s
Battered
Women’s
Advocacy
Clinic.She also interned at
the Rhode Island Supreme Court Clerk’s Office.
In
2005, Erica graduated from BostonCollege
receiving a Bachelor
of Science degree from the Carroll School of Management with a
concentration in
accounting. At BostonCollege, Erica was a member of Special
Olympics at BostonCollege
as well as the Carroll School of Management Speaker Series Committee.
Erica
is presently admitted to practice law in the State of Rhode Island, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts,
and
the
Federal
District
Court
of
Rhode Island. Her professional memberships
include
the Rhode Island Bar Association, American Bar Association, and Rhode
Island
Association for Justice.
