A 63 year old
gentleman was riding his motorcycle down a four-lane road. A car came
out of a
side street partially blocking his lane. He was able to make a quick

to avoid colliding with the other car; but was not able to keep the
bike up and
ultimately lost control seriously injuring him. The insurance carrier
fought
the claim arguing there was no contact between the vehicles. The

A 31 year old
female was a passenger in a car when a tanker truck dangerously cut in
front of
them to take a left turn into a facility where he was making a
delivery. She
suffered serious injuries requiring surgery. The surgery involved the
insertion
of a steel rod secured to her thigh with 13 screws. She could no longer
perform
